Well. That was certainly rousing, wasn't it? One can never really quite know what to expect. On the other hand, at least some of the bigger picture is finally known. [There was a bit of a pause as he took a sip from a cup of coffee.] I do hope that everyone is well.

Perhaps now there will be a bit of a calm since those do tend to be nice before the next big storm.

From my experience that doesn't always seem to be the case. They could be lurking in the shadows, waiting for an opportune time to attack once again.

The realist would say that that's the way to think. The optimist that such a scenario is rarer than common. I tend to think that unless you know for sure, then one shouldn't count anything out.

Of course. A small driving force is always better than nothing. And those who move, no matter how small are usually first to benefit from the knowledge gained.
